Insurance

Although I am not in-network and do not bill insurance directly, that doesn't mean you can't utilize your insurance for sessions. Many clients are able to cover the majority of session cost by utilizing their Out-of-Network (OON) benefits.

I partner with Mentaya to help clients understand and utilize Out-of-Network insurance benefits to cover the cost of sessions. Below, you can verify your Out-of-Network benefits so you will know exactly how much sessions will cost after your insurance reimbursement.

During our consultation call, I can confirm Mentaya's insurance verification on your OON benefits to know what your insurance will cover before our first session. Clients would be responsible for paying our agreed upon session fee at the time of our appointment, and I can submit the claim directly to your insurance or provide a super-bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

About Pricing & Insurance

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes, I do have a limited amount of discounted or sliding scale slots for client's in need and/or college students with limited financial resources. Please inquire if a sliding scale spot is available.

Can I get reimbursed for EMDR Intensives?

Insurance companies will only reimburse one therapy session per day. With EMDR Intensives, we can submit a claim for the first hour of EMDR intensives, but the consecutive time after the first hour, will be your financial responsibility.

Why don't you bill insurance directly?

I don't believe your treatment should be influenced by insurance companies. Many insurance companies require diagnosis and documentation to approve services, which can remain on your medical record for years to come.

By billing your insurance Out-of-Network, I am able to provide minimal information to ensure your treatment is completely confidential.
