Secondary Supervision for MFT & LPC Interns in Reno, NV

Support for the work that asks more of you than your program prepared you for.

You Don't Have to Navigate This Alone

Maybe you're early in your internship, excited but unsure how to actually show up for clients navigating trauma, attachment wounds, or dissociation. Maybe you're integrating EMDR or IFS for the first time and want a supervisor who genuinely understands those approaches, not just general talk therapy. Or maybe you're simply looking for a supervisory relationship that feels relational and safe, not just a box to check for your hours. Wherever you are in that range, you don't have to figure it out alone. I've got you. Let's grow together.

My Approach

As a trauma-informed therapist certified in EMDR, an EMDRIA Consultant-in-Training, with advanced training in Internal Family Systems, Parts Work, and attachment theory, my approach to supervision blends clinical depth with genuine relational safety. Supervision is more than reviewing cases and checking boxes for hours. It's a space to slow down, notice your own internal reactions to clients, and develop your clinical voice with real support, not just correction.

Together, we'll explore your cases, discuss interventions, troubleshoot stuck points, and clarify next steps, but we'll also spend time on you, the therapist behind the work. Doing trauma-informed, relational therapy well requires understanding your own patterns, blind spots, and growth edges, and I bring the same curiosity and compassion to that process that I hope you'll bring to your clients.

Who This Is For

  • Interns working toward MFT, CSW, or LPC licensure who want a relational, trauma-informed supervisory experience

  • Interns interested in integrating EMDR into their clinical work

  • Interns wanting to build a foundation in Internal Family Systems and Parts Work

  • Interns interested in attachment theory and wanting to build skills navigating anxious, avoidant, and disorganized attachment with clients

  • Interns seeking support with case conceptualization for clients with early relational trauma, emotional neglect, or dissociation

  • Interns wanting a collaborative, safe space to develop their clinical confidence and their own therapeutic voice

If you're looking for secondary supervision that goes beyond checking boxes, I'd be honored to support your growth.

What To Expect

Consultation

We'll start with a brief conversation, either by phone or Zoom, for me to learn about where you are in your internship and what kind of support you're looking for. I can share more about supervision with me, and together we can figure out if it's the right fit.

Schedule & Paperwork

Once you're ready to move forward, I'll send over any necessary paperwork, and we'll find a time that works for your schedule, whether that's individual supervision or joining the group.

Individual Consultation

In our one-on-one sessions, we'll dig into your specific cases, clinical questions, and your own growth as a therapist, with space to slow down and really think through your work together, not just get quick answers.

Group Consultation

In our group sessions, you'll bring cases and questions alongside fellow interns, learning not just from me but from each other's clinical perspectives, in a collaborative, supportive space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Internship is challenging enough without feeling like you're figuring out complex clinical work in isolation. Whether you're just starting out or growing into more advanced cases, there's real value in having a supervisor who's genuinely invested in your development. I'd be honored to be that support for you.
