EMDR Intensive Policies

Deposit

All sessions booked for 2 hours or more require a $200 deposit. This deposit will hold your spot and will be billed to your card once the appointment is confirmed. For any appointment cancelled up to 7 days before the appointment date, the deposit will be refunded to your card.

Cancellation Policy

I require a 7 day cancellation period due to these appointments being booked in advanced and the length of time put aside for you. Intensives can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 7 days in advance without a fee and the deposit being refunded. For clients who need to reschedule in under 7 days, they will lose their deposit and will be charged a new deposit upon the new appointment confirmation. For appointments that are cancelled in under 7 days (and up to 48 hours before the appointment), the deposit will be kept as a late cancellation fee. Any appointment cancelled in under 48 hours or unattended will be billed at the full service price.

Saturday Appointments

I require a minimum of 3 hours to meet on a Saturday.

about EMDR Intensive

Do you offer sliding scale rates for EMDR Intensives?

No, unfortunately due to the specialty of the service my EMDR Intensive prices are as stated. Clients with a limited budget are able to engage in EMDR therapy during hourly session or EMDR Intensives can be booked more spread out throughout treatment.

Can EMDR Intensives be reimbursed through my Out of Network Insurance?

From my understanding, insurance will only reimburse up to 1 hour (60 minutes) of therapy per day. I am happy to provide a super bill for our intensive and (hopefully!) you will be reimbursed for the time based on your insurance plan.

Can I enroll as an EMDR Intensives only client?

Yes! You are not required to commit to regularly scheduled appointments to book EMDR Intensives. I can also provide EMDR in conjunction with your ongoing individual therapy. I’d be happy to consult with your current therapist before starting treatment.

If you are enrolling as an EMDR Intensive-only client, I require us to meet for 1-2 sessions (either one or two hourly sessions, or one preparation session). During this time, we will review paperwork, learn about EMDR, and gather enough background information to create a plan for our EMDR Intensive that aligns with your goals. We can discuss this in more detail during your free consultation call.
